Lance Beeghley is a 6'2", 197-pound wide receiver from New Braunfels, Texas, who played college football at SMU. At New Braunfels High School, he compiled nearly 2,500 receiving yards while finishing with school records in career receiving touchdowns and yards. As a senior, Beeghley caught 62 passes for 954 yards and 13 touchdowns. He recorded 44 receptions for 838 yards and 10 scores his junior year, and 36 catches for 701 yards and 14 touchdowns as a sophomore. He also competed in track, running on the school's record-setting 4x400-meter relay team that posted a time of 3:17. Beeghley is a returning member of the Iowa Hawkeyes roster.
