Burke Gautcher is a linebacker for the Iowa Hawkeyes who was redshirted during the 2025 season without appearing in game action. The 6'3", 231-pound true freshman from Sycamore, Illinois was a four-star recruit ranked 252nd overall in the 2025 class. At Sycamore High School, he earned three all-area and all-conference honors along with two all-state selections. In 2023, Gautcher recorded 70 tackles with 10 for loss and four interceptions on defense while also posting 1,084 passing yards and 12 touchdowns as a quarterback, plus 589 rushing yards and six scores.
