Markell Samuel is a 6'4", 305-pound right tackle from Fayetteville, NC, who transferred to Georgia Tech from Oklahoma State. Samuel did not play varsity football until his junior year of high school, when he recorded 52 tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles as a defensive lineman. In his senior season, he posted 70 tackles (50 solo), six sacks and three fumble recoveries while earning all-conference honors twice. He graduated from Appalachian State in 2025 with a degree in recreation and park management and is currently pursuing studies in history, technology and society at Georgia Tech.
