Jalen Burgess is an offensive lineman for Georgia Southern from Valdosta, Georgia, where he played for Valdosta High School under Coach Shelton Felton. As a senior, he earned Region 1-7A first-team honors and honorable mention all-state recognition. Burgess was rated the No. 155 offensive tackle nationally and No. 197 prospect in Georgia by recruiting services. He redshirted during the 2024-25 season without seeing game action and made the Honor Roll in the spring. In 2025-26, he remained sidelined from competition while earning fall Honor Roll recognition.
