Festus Davies is an outside linebacker for Georgia Southern at 6'2" and 235 pounds. Originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia, Davies prepped at Dacula High School, where he recorded 46 tackles and 14 quarterback hurries as a senior before transferring to West Georgia. He played in 10 games as a true freshman in 2022-24, posting 16 tackles with 2.0 tackles for loss and one sack. After appearing in three games in 2024-25 with 11 tackles and two pass breakups, Davies joined Georgia Southern in January 2025. He played 11 games at West Georgia during the 2025-26 season, starting four and accumulating 32 stops, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks, with both sacks coming against Eastern Kentucky.
