Josiah Freeman is a 6'4" wide receiver from Soledad, California, who transferred to Fresno State from Hartnell Junior College. At Hartnell, he recorded 50 receptions for 866 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2021, averaging 108.3 receiving yards per game. Freeman appeared in 13 games during his 2023 redshirt-sophomore season with 19 receptions for 249 yards and one touchdown. After appearing in four games in 2024 before a season-ending injury, Freeman returned in 2025 as the team's leading receiver with 52 catches for 642 yards and six touchdowns across 12 starts, earning honorable mention All-Mountain West recognition.
