Jacob Chambers is a true freshman quarterback for the Fresno State Bulldogs from Fontana, California. He attended Rancho Cucamonga High School, where he was a 3-star recruit and earned Second Team All-League honors as a junior. In his senior year, Chambers completed 2,400 passing yards with 27 touchdowns and added 325 rushing yards with 6 rushing touchdowns. Across his high school career, he accumulated 5,480 passing yards and 58 touchdowns. As a mid-year enrollee, Chambers became the first freshman to start at quarterback in Fresno State history and broke the freshman passing record with 632 yards over six games.
