Demetrius Hill is a 6'2" safety from Miami Springs High School in Miami, Florida who began his collegiate career at FIU in 2022. As a freshman, he appeared and started in all 12 games, recording 95 tackles and earning FWAA Freshman All-America honors. After redshirting in 2021, Hill transferred to Illinois, where he played in one game in 2023 before suffering a season-ending injury. He entered the transfer portal following the 2024 season and returned to FIU.
