Fa'Rel Carter is a defensive back from Indianapolis, IN who attended Decatur Central High School under Head Coach Kyle Enright. As a senior, Carter recorded 780 all-purpose yards, 14 touchdowns, and two interceptions along with 17 tackles. He earned all-state and all-county honors and was named to the IndyStar Super Team. In 2024, Carter rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns, including a 74-yard run with 3:33 remaining that secured a 38-24 victory over Warsaw and the school's first state title. He finished that season on a nine-game winning streak and was part of one state championship and three conference title teams. Carter enrolled at Eastern Michigan for the Winter 2026 semester as a true freshman and is pursuing a business degree.
