At the high school level, he recorded 64 career tackles with 51 solo stops, added 14.0 tackles for loss including 8.0 sacks, and also registered one quarterback hurry, one interception, and one fumble recovery. A consensus three-star recruit, Dwyer signed with East Carolina on December 4, 2024, and enrolled in January 2025.
