Yamdry Hernandez is a defensive end for Delaware standing 6'3" and weighing 218 pounds. A native of Atlantic City, New Jersey, he attended Atlantic City Institute of Technology before joining the Blue Hens. During his junior season in high school, Hernandez appeared in three games and posted 10 tackles, 4.0 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He also competed in basketball and track and field, setting school records in the 100-meter dash at 10.80 seconds and participating in record-setting relay teams.
