Josh McCormick is a placekicker from Austin, TX who attended Akins High School before playing at Oregon State, William & Mary, and Grambling State. At Oregon State in 2022, he appeared in two games with three kickoffs averaging 56 yards. During the 2024 season at William & Mary, McCormick played in all 12 games as a kickoff specialist and set a school record with 34 touchbacks while earning NFF Hampshire Honor Society selection. In 2025 at Grambling State, he kicked in 11 games, making 6-of-10 field goals with a long of 52 yards and 7-of-8 extra points, while recording 45 kickoffs with 30 touchbacks. He earned SWAC Co-Specialist Player of the Week after a 44-yard game-winning field goal against Jackson State. McCormick now joins Colorado as a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
