Ayo Tifase is a 6'4", 285-pound defensive lineman from Baltimore, Maryland, who attended Concordia High School. A three-star recruit in the class of 2022, he spent his first two seasons at Florida State, redshirting in 2022 before appearing in three games in 2023 and recording his first career tackle against Syracuse. Tifase transferred to Charlotte and joined the 49ers' 13th recruiting class. In 2024, he appeared in nine games while recording 92 total snaps despite battling injuries.
