Mark Hamper is a wide receiver from West Linn, Oregon, who transferred to California as a redshirt junior. He previously played at Idaho, where he appeared in 14 games as a redshirt freshman in 2024, recording 49 catches for 987 yards and six touchdowns. Named a Jerry Rice Award Finalist after the 2024 season, Hamper earned Big Sky Honorable Mention honors. In 2025, his first season with the Golden Bears, he appeared in nine games with five starts, catching 17 passes for 202 yards at 11.9 yards per reception, with a long of 35 yards.
