Ace Kaufusi is a 6'4", 237-pound SLB for BYU from Kahuku, Hawaii. A three-star recruit by recruiting services Athletic, he played defensive back and defensive end at Kahuku High School, earning all-state second-team honors. Before joining the Cougars, he completed missionary service in San Jose, California. Kaufusi appeared in four games during his 2024 sophomore season, primarily on special teams, before recording 16 total tackles across 13 games in 2025. That season included 1.5 tackles for loss and two pass breakups, earning Fall Academic All-Big 12 recognition. He is a cousin of current and former BYU linebackers. From Kahuku, HI.
