Austyn Dendy is a 6'1", 225-pound running back from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who transferred to Bowling Green from Missouri in summer 2025. A consensus three-star recruit and No. 35 athlete nationally by Rivals.com, Dendy lettered four years at Pine Bluff High School, recording 83 rushes for 343 yards and seven touchdowns during his senior season. In his redshirt freshman year at BGSU, Dendy appeared in five games with four starts. He rushed 108 times for 493 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 4.6 yards per carry, and caught four passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. Notable performances included 93 rushing yards and a score against Kent State in his debut, 113 yards at Eastern Michigan, and 115 yards with two touchdowns at UMass.
