Austin Novosad is a junior quarterback at Bowling Green who joined the program in January 2026 after three seasons at Oregon. At the University of Oregon, he appeared in seven career games across 2023-2025 and was a member of the 2024 and 2025 College Football Playoff squads and the 2023 Fiesta Bowl team. He completed 12 of 15 passes for 99 yards during his time with the Ducks. Prior to college, Novosad was a consensus four-star recruit from Dripping Springs High School in Texas. In three varsity seasons, he completed 563 of 873 passes (64.5%) for 8,983 yards with 114 touchdowns and 18 interceptions, leading the program to three consecutive state playoff appearances.
