Ty Tanner is a linebacker for the Boise State Broncos standing 6'1" and weighing 225 pounds. From Meridian, Idaho, Tanner attended Rocky Mountain HS, where he played multiple positions and recorded 97 tackles as a senior, including three tackles for loss and two sacks, while earning 2019 All-5A Southern Idaho Conference Second-Team honors. He made his collegiate debut in one game during his freshman year in 2021 and was named a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete. In 2022 as a redshirt freshman, Tanner played in 12 games with nine tackles, posting a career-high four stops against Nevada on November 12.
