AJ Maes is a 6'3", 197-pound wide receiver from Palos Verdes, CA, where he attended Peninsula HS. In high school, he completed 147 passes for 1,856 yards and 13 touchdowns while also accumulating 970 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. He also competed in lacrosse. Maes redshirted in 2024 without seeing action. During the 2025 season, he made his collegiate debut in one game against Eastern Washington on September 5.
