Bio
Travion Barnes is a 6'0", 252-pound linebacker from Almonte Springs, Florida, who attended Apopka High School before joining Baylor as a transfer. He played two seasons at Georgia Military Academy (2022–23) before spending 2024 at Florida International, where he earned C-USA Defensive Player of the Year honors and ranked fifth nationally in total tackles with 129. In his first season at Baylor in 2025, Barnes appeared in four games, recording 11 tackles and 1 sack before suffering a season-ending injury versus Arizona State.
