Micah Gifford is a 6'3", 203-pound safety from Pflugerville, Texas, who originally committed to Baylor as a three-star wide receiver prospect in 2023. He transitioned to safety during bowl practice following his sophomore year in 2024, when he appeared in all 13 games and recorded nine special teams tackles. In his 2025 debut full season at the position, Gifford played in all 12 games and recorded 22 tackles, one sack, one interception, and one blocked kick, including a career-high 10 tackles against Houston.
