Dawson Pendergrass is a 6'2", 225-pound running back from Alba, Texas, who attended Mineola High School. As a freshman in 2023, he played in 11 games and rushed 79 times for 338 yards and five touchdowns while catching 26 passes for 199 yards and two scores. In 2024, his sophomore year, Pendergrass appeared in 13 games with 121 carries for 671 yards and six touchdowns, plus 11 receptions for 103 yards and a score. He was named Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Honorable Mention following a 142-yard, one-touchdown performance against Oklahoma State. Pendergrass redshirted the 2025 season while recovering from a preseason injury and currently returns as a redshirt junior for Baylor. From Mineola HS · Alba, TX.
