Khalel Wright is a redshirt freshman quarterback at Ball State standing 6'1" and weighing 194 pounds. The Charlotte, North Carolina native attended Charlotte Country Day High School, where he held primary quarterbacking duties for three seasons. In high school, Wright recorded 3,716 passing yards and 1,799 rushing yards while registering 42 combined passing and rushing touchdowns. He earned offensive player of the year honors three consecutive years, received twice selection to the CISAA all-conference team, and was invited to the 2024 Queen City Senior Bowl.
