Elijah Jackson is a running back for Ball State who transferred from Purdue with three seasons of eligibility remaining. The Indianapolis native attended Lawrence Central HS, where he rushed for 1,237 yards and nine touchdowns over his final two seasons and won the 2023 IHSAA state championship in the 100 meters with a time of 10.47. At Purdue, Jackson appeared in six games as a redshirt freshman in 2024, recording six carries for 97 yards and one touchdown, including a 69-yard scoring run against Indiana State in the season opener. He also served as the Boilermakers' top kickoff returner, averaging 18.1 yards on eight returns. In 2025, Jackson has eight rushing carries for 17 yards and one reception for 37 yards.
