LaMarcus Hicks II is a 6'2", 190-pound safety from Clarksdale, Mississippi, who transferred to Arkansas from Iowa State. He attended Maine West High School in Des Plaines, Illinois, where he earned three-star recruiting status. In his senior season, Hicks recorded 39 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two interceptions while also collecting 40 receptions for 619 yards and eight touchdowns on offense. Maine West finished 8-2 that year and made the playoffs. As a true freshman in 2025, Hicks redshirted and appeared in three games on special teams without recording statistics.
