Roman Pitre is a 6'5", 255-pound left defensive end from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who transferred to Arizona State from Purdue. A consensus 3-star recruit in the 2022 class, he was ranked No. 29 in Louisiana by national outlets and No. 25 by recruiting services. At University Laboratory High School, Pitre earned all-district honors as an outside linebacker during his junior season and helped his team capture district titles, including a state championship in 2018. He did not appear in games during two seasons with the Boilermakers before joining the Sun Devils.
