Khalil Conley is a redshirt sophomore defensive back for App State from Asheville, North Carolina. He played high school football at Christ School, where he was ranked as a four-star prospect by national outlets and listed as the nation's 34th-best athlete. As a senior, he posted 38 tackles, three interceptions and 15 pass breakups while adding 228 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Conley attended the University of North Carolina, redshirting as a true freshman before recording two tackles in nine games as a redshirt freshman in 2025.
