Bio

Cary Grant is a redshirt senior defensive back for App State standing 6'2" and weighing 180 pounds. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Grant attended Warren Easton High School, where he helped the program reach the 4A LHSAA State Finals in 2019 and 2021. He played junior college football at Highland and Mississippi Gulf Coast before joining Charlotte for the 2024-25 season. During his 2025 campaign with Charlotte, Grant recorded 45 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss across 12 games with eight starts, including seven tackles and one tackle for loss in the season opener.
