Jamarion Matthews is a 6'2", 252-pound defensive lineman from Huntsville, Alabama, who transferred to Gainesville High School in Georgia for his senior year. A unanimous four-star recruit, Matthews earned rankings between No. 52 and No. 99 nationally across major outlets, including No. 11 on the edge by Rivals Consensus and No. 6 defensive lineman on the 247Composite. During his sophomore and junior seasons at Sparkman High School in Alabama, he posted 118 tackles, 48 tackles for loss, and 30.5 sacks.
