Bio

Cameron Monteiro is a 6'1", 190-pound wide receiver from Brockton, MA, who transferred to Akron after one season at Pittsburgh. At Brockton High School, he was rated the state's No. 3 overall prospect by recruiting services, and earned Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association Division I All-State honors. During his final two varsity seasons, he accumulated over 2,000 all-purpose yards while contributing as a receiver, rusher, passer and punter. In 2025, Monteiro appeared in all 12 games for the Zips, recording eight receptions for 109 yards and averaging 13.6 yards per reception, with a season-high three catches for 47 yards against Miami (OH).
