Brandon Smith is a center from Waldorf, Maryland, who attended DeMatha Catholic High School before playing college football at Merrimack and South Dakota. At Merrimack, he redshirted in 2023 and appeared in 10 of 11 games on the offensive line in 2024, averaging 8.2 yards per game. Smith played in 13 games for South Dakota in 2025 on the offensive line. He is a redshirt junior transfer who now plays for Akron at 6'2" and 310 pounds.
